November has come and gone and almost took my dreams with it.
My major goal for last year was to participate in and win #NaNoWriMo2019 which I shared on my Instagram. But, I failed.
I got through the first six days and after that, it was like my mind just closed that chapter. I didn’t even know when November ended.
I only got around 10k words in which is quite pathetic but actually.
Now we’re in December and it’s another time to set goals, but not for the new year.
I realise that when the year starts to end, I start pushing goals to the next year for New Year Resolutions but I’m not doing that this year.
For the first time in a long time, I have December goals. And here they are:
- Get up to 30,000 words with my novel WIP
- To blog everyday of this month. This is to try to improve my consistency and writing skills. Honestly, with the way my writing has been going, I can’t even call myself a writer out loud.
- Show up no matter what. I have a really bad habit of hiding away when things get to tough or uncomfortable for me.
And that’s it. 3 simple goals for this festive month. Easy right? Right?
What are your goals for this month? Or are you pushing them to the next year?
