Trying to explain the Bible is like trying to explain poetry. You can pull 1057 meanings from just one line but you’ll never really get what the writer intended.

I guess that’s why the Bible is still relevant. There’s a certain immortality in things that don’t have a meaning to anyone and taking that thing and making it work for you.

Giving that line, that verse, a meaning is breathing life into it and making it mean something to you, making it work for you. And it’s only when you give that verse a purpose, only then will it work for you.

It may not be what the writer intended, it may even sound silly, but the fact that you choose to believe that it means something to you, makes that line, that word is alive. And it’s purpose is immortal as long as it keeps meaning something to you.
